About Killington
Killington, in Vermont's Green Mountains, is the largest ski resort in the eastern United States - the "Beast of the East" - spread across six peaks and topping out on Killington Peak at about 1293 m (4,241 ft). Roughly 1,500 acres and around 155 trails range from the long, gentle Great Eastern to the famously steep Outer Limits mogul run and the spring-skiing classic Superstar. Massive snowmaking gives one of North America's longest seasons, often from October into late spring, alongside a gondola, fast lifts, terrain parks, ski schools, rentals and a lively après scene.
