About Andermatt

Andermatt, a historic village at about 1444 m in the Gotthard region of central Switzerland, is the heart of the SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun - one of the country's larger linked areas with around 180 km of pistes stretching to Sedrun and Disentis. Its two faces could hardly differ more: the steep, north-facing Gemsstock at about 2961 m is a legendary freeride mountain with demanding off-piste, while the sunny Nätschen-Gütsch side and the Oberalp pass offer wide, gentle cruising for families. Heavily modernised in recent years, it has fast lifts, reliable snow, ski schools, rentals, a snowpark and mountain restaurants.
