About Ortisei

Ortisei (St. Ulrich), a charming village at about 1236 m in the Val Gardena of the South Tyrolean Dolomites, is a gateway to around 175 km of local pistes and the legendary Sellaronda circuit within the vast Dolomiti Superski. Cable cars rise to the Seceda at about 2519 m, with its dramatic ridgeline, and to the sunny, gentle Alpe di Siusi plateau, while nearby Santa Cristina and Selva host the Saslong World Cup downhill. Superb grooming, stunning Dolomite scenery, Ladin culture, ski schools, rentals, mountain huts and excellent food make it a favourite for intermediates and scenery lovers.
