About La Plagne
La Plagne, in the Tarentaise, is one of the world's most popular ski areas, made up of ten linked villages from Montchavin and Champagny up to the high, snow-sure Plagne Centre, Belle Plagne and Aime 2000. Its own roughly 225 km of pistes climb to the Glacier de Bellecôte at about 3250 m, and the double-decker Vanoise Express cable car links it to Les Arcs for the wider Paradiski domain of around 425 km. Wide, sunny intermediate cruising, the famous Olympic bobsleigh track, gentle beginner areas, a snowpark, ski schools, rentals and mountain restaurants make it a great all-rounder.
