About Val Thorens
Val Thorens, at 2300 m, is the highest ski resort in Europe and the highest gateway to Les 3 Vallées - the world's largest linked ski area with around 600 km of pistes. Its own snow-sure, mostly treeless terrain rises to about 3200 m at the Cime Caron and the Péclet glacier, offering long, high-altitude cruising, steep challenges, a renowned snowpark and easy off-piste, plus links to Méribel, Courchevel and the other Three Valleys resorts. The purpose-built, largely ski-in ski-out village has extensive snowmaking, ski schools, rentals and a lively après-ski scene.
