About Avoriaz

Avoriaz, a striking car-free resort perched at 1800 m above Morzine in Haute-Savoie, is the snow-sure hub of the Portes du Soleil - one of the world's largest ski areas, with around 600 km of pistes linking twelve resorts across France and Switzerland. Built on a sunny shelf with distinctive angular timber architecture, it offers north-facing, reliable snow, terrain for every level, renowned snowparks including The Stash, and access to the infamous Swiss Wall (Chavanette) at the Swiss border. Ski-in ski-out throughout, it has ski schools, rentals, mountain restaurants and a strong family and freestyle scene.
